Every month we are highlighting one of our brilliant spa partners with you; the perfect way to discover VOYA treatments and products from all around the world.
Our Spa of The Month for August is Nádúr Spa at the family owned Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa. Located in Tralee at the foothills of the Kerry mountains, this award-winning spa is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, towering trees, and peaceful water fountains.
Nádúr is Gaelic for Nature, and the Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa and surrounding countryside truly offers a cocoon of natural beauty in which to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Nádúr spa features seven treatment rooms, a thermal suite with crystal steam room, herbal glass sauna, vitality showers and a warm bubbling outdoor hot tub. The spa is open seven days a week and offers an extensive range of treatments including their popular VOYA Seaweed Cocktail Ceremony. This beautiful signature ritual is the perfect treatment for the guest who wants it all; a revitalising seaweed body exfoliation, organic seaweed oil back massage, mini-VOYA facial including laminaria eye compress and finishing with a relaxing head massage and pressure point massage on the feet.
The Nádúr team also have some very exciting plans in store for Spring 2023. They will be expanding their thermal garden to double its original size and will feature a newly built glass sauna, herbal steam room, additional treatment rooms, outdoor seaweed baths, a salt sauna with heated thermal loungers, an invigorating outdoor bucket shower and an additional outdoor hot tub encased in a unique cryotherapy cold water walk. These new developments once complete, will spark a whole new future for Nádúr Spa.
Nádúr has a long-standing friendship with VOYA as it was the first property in Ireland to introduce VOYA to the spa industry. The bond between Nádúr and VOYA is a match made in heaven as both play a huge role in fighting climate change. The Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa has impressive sustainability credentials and boasts wildflower meadows, woodlands, an apiary, an insect hotel, and wetlands, with reed filtration to treat wastewater.
Gina Groves has been the spa manager at Nádúr since the spa opened its doors to the public in 2006. “We are 90% stocked with Irish products in the spa and are very proud to be associated with VOYA. We also create our own products using by-products from the hotel’s apiary (beeswax & honey). These products are used in our award winning ‘Honey & Irish Whiskey Salted Body Scrub ‘; the perfect body scrub to deeply hydrate Irish skin.”
